Once he flips out, his special attack is stronger, although he takes more damage when hit by an enemy. Flippy takes a little less damage than other Tree Friends when he is his normal self, but his Special Power Attack is quite weak. Once he is at half health or lower, he will flip out, and once he is back to over half health, he will flip back. The main gimmick of Flippy is the flip-out mechanic: Flippy starts out as his normal self until he is at half health. If he sees or hears anything that reminds him of war, he will flip out into his alter ego, Fliqpy (go to his page to find out more about this persona).įlippy and Fliqpy can run fast, but have a low jumping height.
